As we look ahead to the fall and holiday season, we are looking back at this summer. Our implementation team is dedicated and committed to successfully implementing projects, and we’re proud of the many projects that have been wrapped up over these last few months.
Here’s a quick summary of this summer’s construction projects:

Our completed projects this summer include Aitkin Public Schools (Tennis Courts), Becker Public Schools (transportation building, field lighting, multi-purpose field turf, and middle/high school additions and renovations), the Blackduck Industrial Education Center, City of Coon Rapids Bunker Hills, Duluth Public Schools (district services project and district transportation building), Brainerd Public Schools (Washington Education Services Building), East Central Schools (playground and auditorium lighting project), Frazee-Vergas Public Schools (site improvements & IAQ project), Grand Rapids Area Schools (Southwest School renovations including parking and Bigfork School’s addition, improvements, and parking project), Mora Public Schools (new high school), Lake Park Audubon Schools (high school addition/CTE), Lake Superior (Two Harbors High School improvements), Mankato Area Schools (Lincoln Community Center), Marshall Public Schools (CTE renovations), Northeast Range Welding Shop, Osseo Area Schools (Basswood Elementary School and Palmer Lake Elementary), Park Rapids Area Schools (parent pick-up and drop-off), miscellaneous projects for Princeton Public Schools, Staples-Motley Public Schools (energy performance contracting project), and The Crossings Plaza.

Mora Public Schools New High School
After a successful $61.9 million referendum that passed in May 2020, the new high school officially completes the district’s long-range facility plan. The new 170,000-square-foot school features collaborative learning spaces, a new Career and Technical Education (CTE) wing, a 480-seat auditorium, and more. The district held a formal grand opening on September 27.

Brainerd Public Schools Washington Education Services Building (WESB)
The $205 million plan is officially complete for Brainerd Public Schools, with a $5 million renovation for the WESB. The renovated facility was remodeled to continue to serve the district’s Early Childhood programs, childcare programs, and Brainerd’s administrative offices. Becker Public Schools (Various Projects)
As part of the district’s $44.3 million referendum that was approved in November 2021, several projects have been completed for Becker Public Schools. Their middle school received a 13,000-square-foot addition and approximately 5,000 square feet of renovations. Their high school had 17,000 square feet of renovations, and the district received a new 49,000-square-foot transportation building. A new artificial turf football field and accompanying lights were also installed. The district’s early learning center is the final project to be completed next summer.

Grand Rapids Area Schools Southwest Elementary School Conversion
Grand Rapids’ Southwest Elementary School was converted to serve as the new district office, Community Education, and Alternative Learning Center. This $3.5 million renovation touched approximately 25,000 square feet of space for the district.
