Shakopee Public Schools

Project Details:

After a successful $102.5 million referendum in 2015, the existing Shakopee High School has transformed from a 335,000 SF facility into a 700,000 SF facility serving over 3,200 students. This massive expansion introduced six new learning “academies,” areas devoted to a variety of career paths including business, science and technology, engineering and manufacturing, and more. Other exciting improvements to the High School include a new auditorium and smaller auditorium addition with a thrust stage, a new field house, fitness center, stadium improvements to Vaughan Field, a new servery area, group instruction areas, and more.

Throughout the project, ICS provided long-range planning, pre-referendum planning, Owner’s Representation, and technical services for the newly-expanded facility.
