Project Details:
ICS conducted a facilities operations and space utilization study for Rockford Area Schools. The intent of the study was to look at the three buildings in the district in light of facility and program needs, space utilization and operating costs, and to develop facility options to effectively meet the needs with cost efficient building configurations.
ICS’ Process Included:

- Needs analysis
- Facility tours
ICS also took part in district-wide community meetings that provided the community with early information on the planning process in order to gain feedback/input from district stakeholders on their thoughts and reactions.
The work by ICS included analyzing facility and program needs and proposing financially feasible options. ICS worked with an administrative leadership team and received updates from the board.
ICS was responsible for the management of a $27 million bond referendum project that resulted from diligent planning and pre-referendum efforts led by ICS.
