Project Details:
On November 2, 2021, the community members of Park Rapids Area Schools supported a single-question ballot, approving their bond referendum to enhance their educational facilities.
This $51.65 million proposal focuses on bolstering security measures, refurbishing and enlarging the high school, which has been in operation for five decades, and creating additional space dedicated to career and technical education (CTE). Furthermore, the project involves restructuring grade configurations, consolidating 7-12 graders within the high school, and organizing PreK-6th graders at Century. The comprehensive project also includes the addition of a drop-off and pick-up loop at Century, along with the construction of a new bus garage.
