Tell us about your family: I have a dad and a mom who are both teachers (Jeff and Tara), I have one older brother who is also in construction management (Justin) and two younger sisters who are still in high school (Taylor and Kate).
What are you looking forward to the most with your internship: Just learning as much as I can about the position I am interning for.
What is one item that is on your bucket list: One item on my bucket list is to visit Japan someday.
If you had to delete all but three apps from your phone, which ones would you keep: I would most likely keep Google, Instagram, and Snapchat. Google is useful for learning and looking up information on various things, and Instagram and Snapchat because they are forms of media and also communication.

Where are you from: I am from Andover, Minnesota
Tell us about your family: I am the oldest of three siblings. My younger brother just finished his first year studying Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State and my sister is going to be a freshman in high school next fall. My parents are both from Iowa and moved to Minnesota shortly after I was born. My dad works for Patterson Companies and my mom is a preschool teacher (previously an Iowa State Trooper).
What are you looking forward to the most with your internship: I am very excited to gain experience within the field and collaborate with others on projects/tasks throughout the summer.
What is one item that is on your bucket list: Skydiving!

Where are you from: I am from Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Tell us about your family: I have been married to my wife, Jen, since 2012 and have a 14-month-old daughter.
What are you looking forward to the most with your internship: Learning how to coordinate a job site while using previous knowledge I have from construction and being able to utilize what I have learned in school.
What is one item that is on your bucket list: Go on a family vacation to Hawaii.

Josh Moskowitz | Media Office | Mechanical Engineer Intern
School: Junior at Drexel University studying Mechanical Engineering
Where are you from: I am from Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania. It is about 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia.
Tell us about your family: I have a sister who is 24 and just bought her own house. My parents own a restaurant about 15 minutes away from my house. It just opened last February and is called Ashley’s Restaurant and Bar. We enjoy traveling together and doing fun activities.
What are you looking forward to the most with your internship: I am looking forward to gaining more experience in the engineering field. It is a great way for me to gain experience while still in college and make connections with people.
What is one item that is on your bucket list: One thing on my bucket list is to go on vacation all throughout Europe. I think it would be really fun to take a couple of weeks and travel to major locations of Europe in one trip.
If you had to delete all but three apps from your phone, which ones would you keep: I would keep Snapchat, Twitter, and Spotify. This would let me talk to friends and family, keep up with sports and news around the world, and listen to all of my favorite music and podcasts.

Where are you from: I am from Monticello, Minnesota.
Tell us about your family: My family and I are interested in hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and spending time at the lake. I am from a family with a background of almost entirely engineering.
What are you looking forward to the most with your internship: I am looking forward to learning more about commercial construction as well as what the site superintendent and project management roles in construction are.
What is one item that is on your bucket list: An item on my bucket list would be getting my first elk.

Mads Benishek | Minneapolis Office | Project Management Intern
School: Student at the UMN-TC studying Construction Management
Where are you from: Minnesota is home, although I’ve lived in Michigan, Wisconsin, Norway, and New Jersey.
Tell us about your family: I’ve been married to my spouse, Slats (they/them), for a year and a half. No pets yet, though I’m a dog person and they’re a cat person…we’ll see how that goes! My parents just moved to MN, and now I’m working on convincing my siblings to join us.
What are you looking forward to the most with your internship: I’m excited to help build quality schools to strengthen Minnesota communities, and to grow and learn as much as I can along the way!
What is one item that is on your bucket list: I want to have a small farm with a big garden, build a rammed earth or timber frame house and have friends over for fires and cookouts.
If you had to delete all but three apps from your phone, which ones would you keep: Fun fact – I only got a smartphone in 2016. Google Maps was a game changer! I’d also keep Audible or Spotify and Google Calendar (I organize my life on there).

Tell us about your family: I am part of a family of 6, I am the oldest of 4 siblings, with 3 younger sisters.
What are you looking forward to the most with your internship: I am looking to gain experience with this internship, now with my degree, so that I can progress through work with the college expertise I have learned and hands-on experience I gain from ICS.
What is one item that is on your bucket list: I would like to travel the world, as I find it very interesting from unique pieces of architecture, different cultures, different languages, new foods and so much more that I have yet to experience myself.
If you had to delete all but three apps from your phone, which ones would you keep: I would keep chrome/internet browser; for the questions (and answers) I may think of, messages; to keep in contact with the ones I love, and Snapchat; to talk and see pictures of them when I am not around them.
