Project Details:
Comprehensive project representation services, including space utilization planning and construction phase management for a $10.7 million referendum funded project that included:
Elementary School
- Renovation of an existing kindergarten classroom into the main administrative offices to provide a secure building entrance
- Construction of three new kindergarten classrooms
- Construction of four additional classrooms (currently utilized by grades 2 and 3)
- Construction of a new media center and renovation of the existing administrative offices into a flexible classroom/media center instructional space
- Installation of an elevator to provide accessibility to the main level and second level of the original 1918 school building
- New accessible gang toilets in the two-story classroom area
- Renovation of the existing media center into special education instructional space
- HVAC, lighting, and ceiling improvements to the existing classrooms
High School
- Renovation of the existing main administrative office to provide a secure building entrance
- New auxiliary gym (two additional regulation basketball and volleyball courts) to address the communities growing need for gymnasium space utilized by community education (i.e. EFCE, martial arts, dance, etc.) and school district (i.e. volleyball, basketball, gym classes, etc.)
- New multi-purpose space for wrestling, baseball (batting cages), and community education
- New visitor’s team changing room with shower and toilet facilities
- Four new EFCE classrooms and support spaces to centralize early family/child education programming in the district
- Addition of a new drafting room and agricultural classroom/lab with storage space
- Expansion of the district’s geo-thermal well field and heating system
